    Description

    Starlink is Great.
And we're back in limited stock with Pipe Adapters - we do have SS stock supply chain issues so are doing limited runs right now.
We are primarily shipping Gen 2 Rectangular (304 Stainless Steel) Pipe Adapters now - only sending out a Gen 1 (Beta) Circular adapter special request if you specifically note it when ordering.
    Were you a bit
    frustrated
as a Starlink Customer - after finally getting your terminal when it came time to mount the
    Gen 2
    Rectangular
Dishy McFlatface with a clear horizon? Did you go online to the site and try to buy the pipe adapter mount...? And found them backordered - or weren't satisfied with how it connects?  And the Starlink Pipe Adapters (see one image of OEM mount for Circular (same pipe connection for Gen 2 Rect) in photos) were really designed as well for an up to 2-1/2" aluminum irrigation or other large diameter pipe mount or other smaller antenna or fence pole/pipe or old HughesNet mast, which is then mounted to the adapter and Dishy with
    6 set screws
. So, the bottom line is you're going to have kind of a sloppier mount on a pipe or pole using the company adapter. If weather where you are located is not extreme - it is probably OK to use the SpaceX adapter if you can get it -  but if salt air, corrosion, snow and ice or winds are an issue, or the height to get access to check security of set screws over time is not easily or safely accessible, consider this Stainless Steel NPT Pipe Adapter as an alternative for very securely and strongly mounting your valuable Dishy McFlatface antenna to ensure excellent internet access. We have sent the first SS pipe adapter for the new Rectangular mount to a test customer and the response was "Fits like a Glove"!
PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE A COMMENT If you want a
CIRCULAR ANTENNA adapter - Otherwise we will be sending out Gen 2 Rectangular Antenna adapters from now on.
Also, sadly, we just had to increase our prices - New SS stock steel supply prices have gone up 35% and we add a SS keyway (which we weld into place) and a 3D printed sleeve / bushing for the correct fit to the Gen 2 mast.

This very strong and durable 304 Stainless Steel machined 1-1/4" Starlink Antenna pipe adapter clips right on to the Dishy McFlatface phased array antenna mast and screws into any female NPT threaded 1-1/4" pipe connector coupler available at your local hardware store or big box. And/or you can buy connectors on eBay or other online outlets which allows you to simply buy up to 10' sections of stainless, galvanized, or black pipe or multiples thereof or using another reducer/enlarger (see photos) - you can use any sized pipe sections that you want to engineer - to extend the height of where you need to mount your Starlink antenna. Be aware that you have 150' of feed to work with and Starlink does not recommend extensions to connect the antenna to the modem/power box. We just used one 10' section of 1-1/4" pipe from a big box hardware store with a roof tripod mount converted to tripod base spiked into ground and with two braces to porch and tiled roof.
For our install we used two 1-5/8" exhaust pipe clamps on drilled plates to secure the 1-1/4" mast pipe to the braces off our porch roof when prototyping our mount - but you could do a variety of things to be clear of tree branches, roofline, or any visual antenna obstructions. Various means can be used for a survey - visually before firing up the Starlink or with the new App on your phone (see link above) or after you power the Starlink and it reports on discovered horizon obstructions. Note: a few leaves or branches
    will
block the signal.  See other examples, where customers have securely mounted their antennas by screwing them into couplers on a 20 ft section of pipe (1-1/4") in the San Juan Islands in the salt air of coastal Washington State and on a 5 ft pipe on the top of a chimney on the peak of a roof in northern Ohio or also in Canada in remote locations. See photo images attached. You are not going to want to worry about the security of your antenna during winter storms, summer thunderstorms or other extreme weather.
    Safety Note:
Recommend that you ground the mast if you think it could be a lightning hazard.  We also secured the antenna feed with zip ties leaving some strain relief at the top of antenna for stowing - as when it comes out of stow mode on initialization - it can turn and tilt quite a bit. As this is an aftermarket part that will be part of your own experimentally designed mast - we can not be responsible for under engineered structure that fails to perform or breaks other than our adapter part which we warranty to be free of defects in workmanship or design. We recommend "P for Plenty" and over designing the structure if you live in a very windy or stormy location like we do or if you are considering doing a future mobile mount with the ruggedized antenna.
The photos that we currently have on the this eBay listing include closeups of the stainless steel production part and also customer closeups integrated on dishy mast and our 10' pole mount on top of tripod braced to porch. The fit & finish is very professionally machined, honed and tested and QC'ed to make sure that it is perfect before shipping.  Could you make this yourself if you prototype it on your own lathe, mill, 3D printer and drill press? - Sure. Try drilling or machining 304 SS lately? - recommend getting some carbide tips for lathe and bits? But why bother - we've done all the work in fabricating a stainless steel durable part Warranted for 1 year to be free from defects in workmanship for less than .
Recommend using stainless steel for the rest of your pipe if you're in a salt air or marine environment. We ship immediately from our Pahrump NV location on a first come, first served basis. Thank you for your order in advance - the GrinchWorks LLC team.
