Gorillaz Cosplay Noodle's Hat Kepi or Gakuran Cap skull crossbones Demon Days

Even though I have always assumed Noodle was wearing a Civil War Kepi cap on the Demon Days album, I saw a Reddit post that it could be a Japanese schoolkid cap called a Gakuran. So I will offer choices.....eventually

This hat will fit an average size head. The measurement is 58cm so a little more than 22.5 which is a very common head size
The color is Dark Navy Blue. Inside is a lining. It's really well put together!
I will have different information for the
Kepi hat
which I will order soon and I'm actually torn, wondering if I should get Confederate (Grey) or Union (Blue) because I cannot be sure of the color in the artwork and feel it could pass as dark Grey.
Plus, if this chick is hanging out with Murdoc who dons an SS officer's hat and has the skull and crossbones like him, it's not a leap to imagine she's wearing a confederate cap.
Am I reading too much into this?
I would love some feedback from some fans. What do you think?

I got these

for a Murdoc hat I'm working on, but
I
figured I'd offer it with the Noodle hat, too, even though it's a bit large.
It is actually a plastic belt slide from which I have cut the slide off the back leaving a vertical slit that fits over a horizontally pinned safety pin so you line up the slit with the pin, then twist it upright and the safety pin locks it in place and it also rests on the bill. It was a longer skull with a chin but I chopped it across the bottom to shorten it and make it closer to the skull in the Noodle reference. I painted it white, too.
The cute little one
is a skull pin with some eva foam crossbones just stuck onto the pin point. It goes through the hat and the pin back covers it on the inside. It is not in contact with your forehead when you wear it.
