Buy now to get this attractive full size prop replica of the Agonizer as seen in “Mirror, Mirror”, the second season episode of the Star Trek original television series that first aired in 1967. This replica does
NOT
have electronics or functioning sound effects.
This prop was seen only twice in the series. First during the alternate universe episode in which it was widely used by members of the Terran Empire personnel as a form of punishment. The bearded Mr. Spock was seen to use it on transporter chief Kyle at an early point in the episode. It's second appearance was brief and used in our own universe by the Klingons against Mr. Chekov in the episode Day of the Dove (Third season episode airing in 1968).
Every effort was put forth to replicate the original screen used prop in as close detail as possible by carefully watching the two episodes in which the item appeared, however, some artistic license was taken when modeling decisions were required and simply to make it more interesting.
This Agonizer was designed to look great on display, but is also perfect for Cosplay. The construction was made to be durable, but being plastic, it’s always a good rule to treat it with some care to avoid accidental breakage.
